ZIMBABWE table tennis sensation Kundai Goremusandu made history by qualifying for the 2024 World Championship after he won the Federation Hopes Challenge Week in Namibia last week.

The nine-year-old is excited with the opportunity to represent Zimbabwe and Africa at large in International Table Tennis.

“I am happy to be selected to be one of the representatives from Southern Africa and I am going to work hard ahead of the World Cup.

“The competition is high but I managed to do well in the qualifiers and I thank my coaches and parents for the support. I am looking forward to continuing to do well in the sport. Playing in Namibia was a rare opportunity for me, but I am happy that I managed to do well,” said Goremusandu.
