The Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Ezra Chadzamira, officially unveiled the newly constructed Mupembezi Bridge in Gutu yesterday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services said the Mupembezi Bridge holds immense strategic importance for Gutu East as it serves as a vital link between the various wards under the jurisdiction of Chief Chimombe and Chief Munyikwa.
Additionally, the ministry said the bridge connects the neighbouring districts of Bikita and Buhera, further promoting economic and social interactions between the areas.
