Hakeem’s camp scoffs at Pokello supporters

ADMINISTRATORS of the Facebook page for the Zimbabwean who is in competition for the $300 000 race in Big Brother Africa The Chase, Hakeem Mandaza, have taken a dig on people who have said they do not stand a chance against Pokello tomorrow. The two Zimbabweans are up for eviction tomorrow together with Annabel, Bolt, Dillish, Maria and Natasha.
Fans of the reality show have been saying when it comes to the crunch, Pokello who seems to come from a monied family might make the cut as she has many people who can vote for her to stay.

The number of people who are up for eviction are many. It’s a tight weekend. They are seven housemates up for eviction, meaning each and every country whose housemates are in danger will vote for their own.

Big Brother will this Sunday be forced to use the tie-breaking rule, where the housemate with the lowest average percentage across all countries will be evicted. The higher the number of people who vote for a housemate, the higher their chances for survival.

The administrators scoffed at the people that are saying Mandaza stands not chance, saying they might not have the money but they have the heart of true BBA fans.

“We have the spirit of real winners. Together as a strong family, united by the spirit of Zimbabweans, not by monetary things.
“Let’s prove a point to all those prophets of doom and gloom that we are the real deal. Let’s prove that it’s not about the money, but it’s about the heart and spirit which makes one a winner,” they said.

Those who want to vote for Pokello and Hakeem can SMS, the words “VOTE POKELLO” or “VOTE  HAKEEM” to short code numbers Econet 33334, NetOne 15626 or Telecel 15626 or log on to the Big Brother website and vote.

Meanwhile, Sulu and Nando have only two Strikes left following a less than impressive weekend in the Big Brother House.
Big Brother came down on Nando like a tonne of bricks after he attended the Channel O party with a steak knife in his pocket. Carrying any kind of weapon in the Big Brother House is frowned upon for obvious reasons.

When Big Brother called Nando to the Diary Room to explain why he had a weapon on him, Nando stumbled over his words like a drunk. He finally told Big Brother “I carry knives everywhere I go and I had no intention of using it on anyone”.

Sulu, on the other hand has also been slapped with a Strike. The Zambian was penalised by Big Brother for trying to forcefully get Selly’s attention after the party. In video footage broadcast in both the Ruby and Diamond houses, Sulu was seen dragging Selly by the arm as he attempted to talk to her. Sulu has a crush on Selly and was left reeling after she was swapped to the Diamond House. As soon as Selly walked into the Diamond House, she kicked off a sexy flirtation with Nando.

Whether Nando’s knife-carrying is connected to the Sulu and Selly factor is anyone’s guess. — Chronicle Reporter/bigbrotherafrica.com.
