HAZ name teams for Junior Africa Cup

The Hockey Association of Zimbabwe has named the Under-21 men’s and women’s teams that will represent the country at the Junior Africa Cup in Nambia next month.

The tournament is due to take place from November 30 to December 8 in Windhoek, Namibia.

The continental event will feature top African junior teams that will compete for the title and three spots for the International Hockey Federation Junior World Cup scheduled for next year.

Prince Mwale is in charge of the men’s team and the women’s side is under the guidance of Brad Heuer.

Under-21 Men
Shawn Mukudzei Mugavha (GK), Tochukwu Jordan Nnaji Nnam (GK), Norman Muchacha, Emmanuel Mushosho, Dayle Nicole, Nathan Davies (vice-captain), Travis Pettican, Matipa Mawere, Daniel Quen Erasmus, Mutsawasha Kanyangarara (captain), Tadiwanashe Chigumira, Nathaniel Hlabangana, Justin Francois Steyn, Tinashe Munyanyiwa, Dhaneel Goven, Tino Chirozvi, Takudzwa Makudo, Ngonidzashe Talent Ndadzibaya.
