He got me fired, woman accuses ex-hubby

Milicent Chasinda

A WOMAN is accusing her former husband of getting her fired from her job due to his violent actions.

Privilege Chibaya has applied for a protection order against her ex-hubby, Takudzwa Matanda.

“I am no longer employed because of him.

“He would come to my workplace to assault me, and I was fired in the end because of his actions,” said Privilege.

Takudzwa denied the claims.

“I have never been to her place of residence for the purpose of violence.

“The problem we had was that she took our child to the rural areas without my knowledge.

“I asked her why she used her surname on my children’s birth certificates,” said Takudzwa

Magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted the protection order to Privilege.
