The annual sports gala had several sporting disciplines, which range from athletics, long and high jump, shot put and triple jump.
Harare CBD also proved competitive as they came second on 221 points while Mabvuku campus walked away with the bronze medal after amassing 174 points.
Mkoba Gweru and Budiriro campuses were docked 20 points each for failing to register proper results.
Fifteen campuses took part.
Speaking at the ceremony, provincial educational director Calvin Edwin Mazula, who represented the Deputy Minister of Education, Arts, Sports and Culture, Lazarus Dokora, said the tourney was a success. “Athletics offers a unique opportunity for almost all schools to offer at least one or more participants. “Sports brings about social platforms beyond the limited school scope. In many games poor officiating usually spoil the results but here it was different,” Mazula said.
