Highlanders FC pay Zimbabwe Embassy in Botswana courtesy call

HIGHLANDERS paid the Zimbabwe Embassy in Botswana a courtesy call in between their training camp activities which included a practice match against Gaborone United on Monday evening.

The Bulawayo giants arrived in the Botswana capital last week on Thursday morning as part of their pre-season preparations.

On tour are members of the secretariat, board and executive.

At the Embassy they were welcomed by Ambassador Henry Mukonoweshuro.

“It is a profound privilege to represent both our badge and our nation through the intersection of sport and diplomacy. We are sincerely grateful to His Excellency for the warm reception and the inspiring words of encouragement shared with us as we continue our preparations for the upcoming season,” Bosso Media said soon after the visit.
