HIGHLANDERS Royals, Bossoas women football side, has been encouraged to constitute themselves in forming an entity that will deal with their administration issues.

The team has been defunct for several years.

a?We are encouraging our female members to constitute themselves in forming an entity that will run their Highlanders Royals administration. We recently donated a full kit to them and we are hoping that they will take the initiative forward,a? said Bosso chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede.

Highlanders donated a full kit that was worn by their Under 18 boys at the Emakhandeni Legends Cup contest a month ago. Gumede said the kit donation was a way of encouraging their womenas side to fully participate in the game.

Speaking at the presentation of the kit, Highlanders Royals coach Samukeliso Ndlovu said they were grateful for what the club had done for them.

a?We are happy about their wonderful gesture and we are happy for the recognition that the club has given us,a? said Ndlovu.

The women football side was revived in 2014 after it disbanded in 2005.
