German Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have approached Kaizer Chiefs, offering them Knowledge Musona (pictured) ahead of the January transfer window. Stuart Baxter tells this website that Hoffenheim have come back knocking on their door regarding the unsettled Zimbabwean striker.
Chiefs’ intentions to bring Musona back at the beginning of the season fell through due to contractual disagreements. “They have come back again to us and they are asking if we are still interested. Well, the window is opening and we will reassess it and if the deal is good for Kaizer Chiefs then we will do it,” Baxter tells KickOff.com.
Musona has been frozen out at Hoffenheim, while Chiefs have left one foreign spot open with the aim of using it to bring in the 24-year-old in January if the deal works out. Musona has recovered from an ankle injury that he picked up while on loan at Chiefs last season and though he prefers to continue in Europe, it is no doubt that Amakhosi will provide a good platform to get his career back in motion again. — KickOff.com
