LONDON. – Angel di Maria’s wife Jorgelina Cardoso has opened up about their Manchester hell.
The Argentine football star joined Man United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 after a glittering spell in Spain.
But he struggled to replicate the same form in England before leaving for Paris Saint-Germain after just one season. Speaking to Argentine TV show LAM, Jorgelina revealed that she never wanted to move to England in the first place.
She said: “Angel came to me one day and said: ‘Look at this proposal from Manchester United’.
“I didn’t want to go, I told him to go alone. ‘Let’s go both of us’, he replied. It was a lot of money, more than the Spaniards had offered.
