A Harare woman has accused her husband of forcing her to look after children he sired out of wedlock.
Chido Dhliwayo took her husband, Kudakwashe Kadivi, to court seeking a protection order, accusing him of verbally and physically abusing her.
Magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted her the protection order.
“He is my husband, but he brings his children from outside our marriage, forcing me to look after them.
“His girlfriends also come to insult and threaten me. He also insults me using vulgar language and assaults me,” she said.
Kudakwashe denied everything his wife said.
“She is lying, I do not assault her, but I do insult her at times.
“The children are mine, and the last time I hired someone to look after them, but she harassed her. She is the aggressor,” he said.
Magistrate ordered Kudakwashe not to insult, assault or threaten his wife.
