Hwange ready for El Amal Atbara

Dube is aware that life will not be easy for the coal-miners when they travel to Sudan for the reverse fixture in two weeks time.
The Hwange coach said they are going to attack their opponents right from the first whistle and hope to minimise on errors in defence.
Last year Harare giants Dynamos thought they had taken a 4-1 advantage at Rufaro against MC Alger of Algeria only to lose 3-0 in the reverse fixture and bowed out of the African Champions League in the first round.
“We should maximise all the chances that we can create.
“There is need to play well and get a good result so that we know what to play for when we go to Sudan,” said Dube.
Dube said he has all the players at his disposal and could be spoilt for choice in selecting his team.
“We have got all the players ready and available for selection,” said Dube.
Hwange are still buoyed by their 7-1 goal aggregate win over Zanzibari side Jamhuri but Dube is aware that the Sudanese outfit could be a tougher nut to crack.
Chipangano won 3-0 in the first leg in Pemba before finishing off the East Africans 4-1 at home to cement their place in the first round.
“I think we have realised that the opponents are tall and very strong players.
“We have also gathered information that Al Amal have a very good junior policy with teams in the Under14-, Under-16 and Under-18.
“A team with such juniors could be tactically good but we have prepared well for this game,” said Dube.
Dube, a former Hwange skipper during his days as a player, said the atmosphere in the coal-mining town and surrounding areas was electrifying ahead of the game.
“The fans are promising to come in their numbers.
“So far it appears the response will be fantastic since everyone is saying he is coming for the game,” said Dube.
Hwange are likely to trust Petros Mhari to keep guard in goals after he took over as the number one jersey from the long serving Timothy Sibanda.
Gerald Ndlovu and David Boriwondo could form the central defence while Dube and his manager Tennat Chilumba can also opt to field Kuda Chipere and Munyaradzi Mangadze.
Former Mwana Africa forward Daniel Kamunhenga can provide the much needed experience of playing in the African safari while midfielder Farayi Vimisayi has done duty with Dynamos in the Champions League before.
But its Franco Zvekumbawire who could create the crucial goals for the side while Rodwell Chinyengetere and holding midfielder Eric Chipeta could also come to the party.
El Amal are making their second appearance in the Caf Confederations following their exist in the first round in 2010.
The side finished third in the Sudanese Premiership behind champions El Merriekh who are playing FC Platinum of Zimbabwe in the African Champions League.
Edward Sadomba’s Al Hilal were second in the league.
El Amal arrived in Harare on Thursday and then took a chartered flight to Victoria Falls.
However, the Sudanese side turned down Hwange’s offer to stay in Victoria Falls and have since been booked at a hotel at the colliery.
