Musician Msiz’kay is set to celebrate his 35th birthday with fans and followers at The Mitre leisure spot in Bulawayo on Saturday, following public demand to honour the artiste.

Hosted by social media sensation Sipho Mercent Nyathi, the celebration dubbed iParty kaMsiz’kay will feature performances from the birthday boy, Sonkomose, and Bhekiwe.

On the decks will be DJs Skaiva, Toxic Chemical, DJ Fritz, and Eazy Vert. The dance floor will be energised by No Name Crew.

The event will have good vibes, games, a photo booth, and karaoke featuring Msiz’kay’s songs.

The Ngawuzw’umoya wam’ hit-maker shared his excitement, expressing gratitude for the support from his fans. He said he will launch a surprise single during the celebration.

“Life is a gift, and every new day is worth celebrating. The ‘iParty kaMsiz’kay’ show is a new addition to the Brand Msiz’kay event calendar, which I plan to host yearly to celebrate life with family, friends and music fans.

“The line-up for the show was inspired by the theme of celebrating life. We have DJs to make us dance, music performances to sing along with, comedy to make us laugh, poetry to reflect and a photo booth to preserve memories,” he said.

“2024 has already been an exciting year, with magical moments in the studio that I can’t wait to share with the world. It’s been fun performing for different crowds all over the city and all I can say about future plans is, ‘watch this space, kukhulu okuzayo’,” added Msiz’kay. – @mthabisi_mthire
