URBAN contemporary music exponent Enoch “Nox” Guni says he will not lose sleep over haters trolling him on social media after his second marriage to Gladys Mapfumo.

The 41-year-old crooner stated that haters will make them stronger.

In an interview with The Herald Arts, Nox described Mapfumo (37) as a blessing from God despite haters “dissing” her on social media.

“We don’t live for the social media streets, but God has a purpose in life for everything that happens,” he said.

“I am glad that I have married the right person who hails from my province in Gutu.

“She was raised in Chiredzi, but Gutu is her home area, and I come from Zaka.”

Nox said his wife was in high spirits despite haters calling her an old woman.

“Whatever people are saying, we won’t listen to them because we did not marry to impress them,” he said.

“The same haters who are having a field day on social media also need true love.

“You can’t live for the people because people are bound to say anything they want in life.”

Nox, who got married on December 28, has been trending for most of the weekend, with his former wife Tallyn Ndudzo leading the chorus of social media trolls.

Tallyn has been posting videos on her social media handles insinuating that Nox made a mistake by marrying Mapfumo.

Nox, who has been trolled before on social media, said he would not lose sleep over haters after his decision to marry his new wife.

“As celebrities, we are always in the spotlight because people will always talk,” he said.

“In my case, I have learnt to embrace criticism, which has kept me going and strong. “Without criticism, we are nothing, and I am glad that God has been keeping us going and strong.”
