INGWEBU Breweries has opened a depot in Harare to meet a growing demand for its products, managing director Mr Dumisani Mhlanga said on Wednesday.

Mr Mhlanga said the demand in Harare has far outpaced that of Bulawayo.
“We have opened a depot in Harare to meet high demand for our product. We have hired people which also speaks to employment creation,” said Mr Mhlanga.

He spoke on the sidelines of a ministerial tour of the plant. Ingwebu Breweries praised for the successful installation of a state-of-the-art US$1,7 million Beer PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) packaging plant, hailing it as a “game-changer” for the local beverage industry.
