KALISTO Pasuwa has splashed nearly $10k to cover the medical bills for his son Kenneth who suffered a career-threatening injury last Sunday.
The Kwekwe United midfielder was stretchered off the pitch during their 0-2 loss to CAPS United.
Their clash against Makepekepe was meant to be his last as he was believed to be on his way to pen a deal with Dynamos.
However, he was injured in what was meant to be his last game for Kwekwe United.
Scans have shown that his season is over due to the severity of his injury.
Fortunately, his father, who is in charge of the Malawi national team, was in the capital when his son was injured.
Pasuwa has spent almost $10,000 on experts who can get his son back on his feet.
The medical report reads:
“There is synovial thickening and inflammation around the knee joint with a large joint effusion.
“Full thickness tear of the femoral half of the anterior cruciate ligament.
“This is associated with pivot shift injury mechanism bone marrow bruising involving the mid portion of the lateral femoral condyle and the posterolateral corner of the lateral tibial plateau.
“Fluid signal is noted superficial to the medial collateral ligament. Ligament fibres are intact with appearances consistent with a Grade 1 sprain of this structure.”
