CONTROVERSIAL, but talented word-smith, Jacob Moyana, will lead his Black Hunters to entertainment spot, Club Mandisa this weekend partnering raunchy dancer, Bev and the Sexy Angels.Moyana will be hoping to dish out songs from his new eight-track project Hazvimeche to his legion of fans in Mutare.
The album carries tracks such as Zororo remweya, Ndine mukomana wangu, Wepamusoro anovhaira, Kujeke (Madhiri takambomamira), Totengeserwa zvekudenga, Kunama mapoto (zvinoenderera neburi racho) and Mapechegumi kuchurch.
Moyana said his band was raring to go and would tune out all his new tracks including the crowd favourite, Wepamusoro anovhaira.
Bev will perform at the venue today (Friday) and will be supported by the Harare-based dance group, Hangasa Queens, while Moyana will perform tomorrow (Saturday).
The show organiser, Bonface Nyamanhindi, said the fun-filled weekend will see a clash of two genres and different forms of entertainment.
“Those who love dance groups will have the time of their lives with two renowned outfits. While for the sungura lovers, Jacob Moyana will give them a real deal. All the performers confirmed their participation and we are looking forward to a scintillating weekend,” he said.
Beverley Sibanda, simply known as Bev, rose to stardom as a pole dancer and has now established herself as a professional entertainer who has one album to her belt. She will be expected to entertain scores of fun lovers expected to throng the entertainment spot with her sexually arousing dances.
Bev’s manager, Harpers Mapimhidze told The Weekender that they had some new acts in store for fans in Mutare and urged people to come in numbers.
“We always have something new for our fans. We are coming to Mutare with confidence and we promise to stage another memorable show,” he said.
