Japajapa speaks on CAPS woes

their pride and bring back Chitembwe,” said Japajapa.
“The biggest blunder was to fire all the previous coaches, instead they should have promoted by demotion whereby they would have made Connor the technical director.
“In terms of administration Connor was good but in terms of coaching he was not suitable for a club like CAPS which was looking for instant results.
“Chitembwe has got the potential of taking the club to greater heights provided he is given a long-term contract to prove mettle.
“There must be a restructuring exercise at the club whereby an executive must be put in place which consists of chairperson, secretary general, treasurer and five committee members.
“This brings professionalism to the club, which I believe is lacking currently. The board should only look for sponsors to alleviate the burden of financing the club rather than relying on two people.”
Japajapa believes CAPS have quality players but they lack a good coach who can instill the Green Machine spirit into the team.
