Kapfup, who recently produced another comical film called Kudya Kunozip, said the six-track album, Munhu Wese, has songs that include Madamburo, Shamwari Dzakanaka, Wamhanya, to name just a few.
Speaking after mesmerising fans with his antics during the well attended Heroes Splash at Mupandawana Growth Point in Gutu on Friday, Kapfupi said his new project stood a chance to compete on the market, adding that he took his time to perfect all the songs on the album.
“I took my time in coming up with this album which I think will appeal to my fans that follow my music.
Since I came into the industry I have not yet disappointed and hope fans will find my new project interesting,” said Kapfupi.
Kapfupi said he was a unique artiste who had found a niche in the industry by blending his music with acting and that has made him popular.
“Music and theatre to me is just the same because everything is done on stage and mixing the two together has improved my popularity. I will keep on doing both and through blending music with comedy, I have found a marketing niche,” he said.
