Kudzi set to release seventh album

Story of My Life” in a feat that is a reflection of the cordial relations between artistes from the two countries.
This is not the first time that the talented gospel musician has done so after featuring some South African Zulu hymns on some of his previous albums.
The album is Kudzi’s third release with his new recording stable, Diamond Studios after “Emmanuel” (2009) and “Vhangeri” (2010).
On the 10-track album Kudzi introduces a novel beat that matches international standards.
“As a musician I try to sing for all people hence the idea of incorporating an international feel to it,” Kudzi, who was in the company of his new manager, Tatenda Ndigwirei, said.
One has to listen to the album in order to appreciate Nyakudya’s maturity.
It opens with the track, “Mirairo” about how people should be obedient of God’s commandments if they are lead better lives on earth.
The second track “Anondida” about Jesus’ abundant love, is spiced by the voice Phaphani, whose unique style seduces any listener.
Two other guest artistes, only identified as Fiona and Naison, come in on the song “Zita RaJehovha” that talks about how Jesus’ name is worthy to be praised, while “Mambo Wekudenga” is also closer to “Zita RaJehovha” in meaning.
If ever there is one specialist who ranks above all in the world, then it is Jesus Christ, as is revealed in the song “Specialist” where it said that one’s problems are solved if people have faith in him.
The rest of the songs, “Ndiripo”, “Moyo Wangu”, “Mwari Muri” (featuring Fiona) and “Hosanna” are just as impressive and make the album the gem-packed release that it is.
The album – which is Kudzi’s seventh release – was recorded with the assistance of Eternity Productions.
“We are working on the launch of the album which will be held anytime soon. We have also struck a deal with some leading retail shops including Spar and Food World whereby we are holding in-store promotions, marketing their products while at the same time signing autographs and selling the album,” Kudzi said.
Kudzi was voted Zimbabwe Music Awards Best Male Gospel artiste in 2005.
