THE Zanu PF leadership in Masvingo has requested the party’s national hierarchy to accord national hero status to the late former Minister of Finance Dr Samuel Creighton Mumbengegwi, citing his sterling work both in government and in the party.
Dr Mbengegwi died at Avenues Clinic on Tuesday morning.
He was 74.
