Mudzimu Mukuru
DURING his address at the Heroes Day commemorations, President Mnangagwa condemned violent behaviour and urged the nation to remain united.
Unity is the only way to go because we are not going to build this country if we remain divided.
If we work together, we can achieve so much more.
President ED and his Government have been working hard to turn around the economy, but there are people who do not want to see them succeeding, which is why there are opposing forces at every turn.
We have seen the MDC-Alliance trying to rally the people into turning against the Government by calling for protests.
While it is a democratic right for people to protest, I do not see any tangible solutions coming out of all this chaos.
The President has said he is open for dialogue, so why not just talk in a peaceful manner rather than disrupt business with unnecessary protests and marches?
I am starting to believe that Chamisa has nothing to put on the table if he is to enter into dialogue with President Mnangagwa.
This is the reason why he and his troops have resorted to trolling the Government on social media and trying to push people onto the streets.
The MDC-Alliance is naïve to think that making noise on the streets is the best answer to the country’s problems.
If these people were mature, they would have been offering tangible solutions rather than just highlighting that they want to be in power.
