Londoner’s Sports Bar is expected to host the Summer Jam party tomorrow featuring Zimbabwe’s hottest artistes among them ExQ, Stunner, Shinsoman, DJs Storm, Ash Styles, Nivek and Dee Nosh.
Running under the theme “Handei/ Let’s Move On/Asambe”, the gig will be a mixed bag.
No doubt, fans will have a rare treat since the artistes have collaborated in one way or the other.
Stunner and Shinsoman collaborated on the track “Chibhodhoro” which rocked the airwaves. Stunner is one of the best rappers in the country with his tracks “Mudhara Bhanda” and “Dhafu Korera” among others.
ExQ is one of the most consistent and talented urban grooves artistes. He is well known for his laid-back vocals and mature productions. He has kept his style fresh with amazing collaborations with other artistes like Roki, Extra Large and Oliver Mtukudzi, to mention just a few.
Shinsoman is no doubt popular among the ghetto youths for his energetic performances and free-style. He is basking in the glory of his hits “MaGhetto Youths”, “Number One”, “Mawayawaya” and “Dancehall Father”.
Masimba Taonei, one of the organisers of the event, said there would be many more shows in all the major cities.
“Summer Jam Party” is a new movement which is meant to promote Zimbabwe’s upcoming artistes as well as local DJs.
