Superstar Alick Macheso will tomorrow take his Kupa Kuturika album to Shamva.
Macheso has been included to perform at the Liquid Lounge official opening, a new joint along the Shamva-Bindura Road.
He will share the stage with dancehall chanter Freeman, and rappers Bling 4 and Kikkybad** in an explosive affair that is tipped to light up the mining town.
“We are all set for the launch this Friday and we are promising to light up Shamva as we launch the new joint.
“All the artists have confirmed their participation and we have lined various activities for all our patrons,” said one of Liquid Lounge officials, Simbarashe Sithole.
Sithole said the new joint is expected to put Shamva in the limelight.
“We are also tapping into promoting rural tourism by offering traditional foods and various activities.
“We transformed the spot from just a mere rural site into a spectacle and we can host up to 5,000 people at a time,” he said.
Organisers have also included Zimboy and MC Tatts who will provide cover at the event.
