adminLangton Madzore (23) who is now facing a charge of sodomising an 11-year-old boy after police investigations cleared him of the other two counts pleaded not guilty to aggravated indecent assault.
He was remanded in custody to the 21st of this month.
For the State, Mr Michael Mhene told the court that some time in May, Madzore of Mkoba Village 11 went to the complainant’s parents and requested to take the juvenile to his shrine for a night prayer.
The complainant’s parents are members of the same church.
Mr Mhene said while at the shrine, the accused sodomised the juvenile and later took him to his house where he spent the night.
The following day Madzore took the boy to his his parents’ house.
The court heard that the juvenile did not report the sodomy until recently when he started complaining of pain on his backside. The matter was reported to the police leading to Madzore’s arrest.
