UP-AND-COMING singer, Tiffany “Timples Jnr Mama Filo” Samu, reckons she is now ready for the global stage.
The 16-year-old is the youngest daughter of Mama Filo, who is well known for helping Jah Prayzah’s spectacular rise to fame.
Timples Jnr Mama Filo is currently working on collaborations with Chipoko Chasauro, Graham Tapiwa Madimutsa, Mutulis “Boris” Dube and Kelvin “K Cool” Baya.
In an interview with H-Metro, Timples Jnr Mama Filo said her mother’s role in the entertainment industry has shaped her love for music.
“My mother inspired me to become a musician because I grew up around a lot of popular artists.
“She is my biggest role model and I would really want to be like her.
“Working with my producer Mars on the Beat has been a wonderful experience.
“I am seeing the hand of God in my musical career and I want to thank my fans as they keep on motivating me through their support.
“I am a star in the making and people should watch out for me.
“There is serious competition in the musical industry but I believe everyone is running his or her own race and I have my own too.
“Challenges are there but we should try to overcome them so as to finish what we started.”
Tmples Jnr Mama Filo once featured in Jah Prayzah, Baba Harare and Gonyeti videos.
Last month she released her debut album titled ‘Zvakuda Kutanga.’
The album has four songs.
