MANAGER LOSES CAR, CASH TO THREE ARMED ROBBERS

A MANAGER at a local company lost her car, cash and other valuables when armed robbers raided her house in Mt Pleasant, Harare.

Andile Nkomo, 24, a manager at Bin for Africa was awakened by noise when three armed robbers broke her bedroom window at around 2am.

Andile lives at the company premises.

One of the robbers was holding a pick and another was holding a knife.

They demanded cash while also threatening to rape her.

The robbers ransacked the house and stole US$879 from her wallet, a Pavilion Laptop, a Canon 700D Camera, a 35mm Studio Light stand, Good light Ad200, Polaroid Camera and an iPhone 11.

They demanded car keys and drove away in Andile’s silver Honda Fit Hybrid (AGF 8266).

Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.

“Police are investigating an armed robbery case at a company in Mt Pleasant.

“Total value stolen is US$15 000.

“The robbers gained entry through the gate which was not locked,” said Insp Chakanza.
