A lecturer at one of Bulawayoa��s private colleges does not have peace in her life because of her ex- husbandA� refusing to let her off the hook claiming she is his property.
Florence Nkomo (28, ABOVE) will live to regret the day she fell in love with Future Banda as he does not want to accept reality that their love died a natural death.
Despite the two having parted ways, Banda goes to Nkomoa��s place of residence during the dead of the night ordering her to open doors for him.
Whenever she tries to ignore him, he threatens to break down the door.
As a result, Nkomo has since applied for a protection order against her ex-husband in a bid to get her freedom.
In an affidavit she stated fears for her life because of Bandaa��s behaviour.
a�?I am applying for a protection order against my ex- husband Future Banda as he comes to my workplace demanding money.
a�?He also comes to my place during the night ordering me to open the door and he says I belong to him since we have a child together.a�?
Nkomo also stated that Banda at times steals her money at her place. At one point he destroyed her phone so that she does not communicate with other people.
Magistrate Abednico Ndebele presided over the matter and ordered Banda not to verbally and physically abuse or threaten her in anyway.
He was also told not to ever set foot at Nkomoa��s place. .
