Man kills niece (13) in vicious assault over US$10

A 40-YEAR-OLD man was arrested for allegedly beating his 13-year-old niece to death after accusing her for stealing US$10.
Tauya Mungate assaulted his niece using a switch, wooden broom and a fan belt.
In a statement on X, Police said they arrested Tauya Mungate in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Mungate Village, Chinhamora on 4 November.
“The suspect assaulted his niece (13) to death with a switch, wooden broom and fan belt after accusing her of stealing US$10,” read the statement.
