A BRAVE man is a respectable person and that can be said about a husband who came out in the open to reveal that his wife of 10 years was in the habit of beating him up.
Mphefumulo Mlilo has been his wife, Patience Sibandaa��s punching bag all along.
In the process, he lost hope of having a happy marriage because she didna��t show signs of behavioural change.
He even told family elders from his and her side but no tangible solution was found.
Instead, she beat him up in their presence.
At some point he also summoned the police, and she beat him up again as law enforcers watched.
Mlilo has since applied for a protection order.
In his affidavit, he said his life was in danger.
a�?She is very violent and has attempted to axe me,a�? he wrote.
Mlilo also revealed that he is living in fear as the woman is now after his life and has declared that she wants to kill him.
The matter was heard before Western Commonage magistrate Abednico Ndebele who granted the order in favour of the applicant where the respondent was ordered to stop harassing, insulting and beating her husband.
