A SIZINDA man allegedly sold his matrimonial home leaving his wife and three minor children stranded before eloping with his girlfriend.

Edwin Sibangani Ndlovu has been married to Nomagugu Nyathi for four years although the couple does not have children together.

The three minors are Nyathias two children from a previous marriage. The third is her relative.

So cheeky is the husband that he allegedly sold the house without his wifeas knowledge and went on to throw out their matrimonial property to accommodate the new a?a?ownersaa while Nyathi was at work.

Nyathi only became aware that she and the minors would be homeless after a Good Samaritan in the form of a neighbour phoned and alerted her that Ndlovu was in the process of throwing their property into the streets.

During the week B-Metro observed some of the broken household property which Nyathi alleges was damaged by Ndlovu while he was making way for the new owners of the house.

The matter has since been reported to the police.

a?I was alerted by a neighbour while I was at work that my husband was throwing our property into the streets to make way for the new family that had bought the house. I was not even aware that he had sold the house and what hurts me the most is that all the property that you (B-Metro reporter) see, which he destroyed was bought with my money.

a?Iam the one who has been fending for the family. Sibangani has never contributed towards the upkeep of the family.

We have been in and out of court as a result of the property that he damaged,a? said Nomagugu.

When this publication tracked down the husband he claimed in his defence that he sold the house because it belonged to his father.

And he could not care less about the children sleeping in the streets because they are not his biological children.

a?How am I supposed to feel pity for children that are not biologically mine? She has refused to bear children with me saying she has enough children of her own and that Iam also irresponsible,a? said Ndlovu.

The new owners have since moved into the house.

Ndlovu has already moved in with his girlfriend identified as Kwanele Valerie Ncube in a flat that is interestingly near the coupleas former matrimonial home.

Ncube declined to entertain questions from B-Metro.
