CHIPO Chimusote lives in fear of her ex-lover who constantly threatens to kill her with an okapi knife.
It has been gathered that at first whenever the two had problems Nqobizitha Ndlovu would assault Chimusote with open hands and clenched fists.
Chimusote could not bear his assaults so she decided to dump him.
But, Nqobizitha does not want to part ways with Chimusote so he has resorted to tormenting her with a knife.
Fearing for her life, Chimusote decided to seek help from the courts in a bid to conduct her daily errands peacefully without fear of the okapi.
“I am seeking a protection order against my ex-boyfriend who is threatening to kill me using a knife. He comes to my vending stall and starts abusing me. I no longer want him to come to my place of work or residence,” said Chimusote.
She further revealed that on countless occasions Nqobizitha had also threatened to kill her children.
“I am most afraid that he is going to kill my children because most times he will be drunk so he is definitely capable of doing anything. I no longer want this man in my life and I don’t want him to call me,” said Chimusote.
The Western Commonage magistrate Stephen Ndlovu granted an interim order.
