A HARARE woman is claiming that her husband is abusive and even poisoned her food.
Alice Matiki appeared before magistrate Meenal Naratom seeking protection against Christopher Nyamweda.
She claimed that her husband is abusive.
“I am tired of this marriage because Christopher threatened to kill me.
“He works at Harare City Council so he uses guns to threaten me.
“When l reported the case, he locked me inside the house so that l could not go and collect the papers.
“He calls me a witch and also claims that l killed our first son and he spits on my face.
“When l cook for me, he throws the food to our dogs.”
Christopher said that he had no comment. I have no comment, just grant her the protection order she needs because l also want peace.”
