Following the flash floods that hit parts of Norton recently, Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Marian Chombo toured Ward 13 today.
Norton Town Council acting public relations officer, Mr Leeroy Kaponda said Minister Chombo noted that both the council and Government need to come in promptly to assist.
“Minister Chombo said the affected houses are now inhabitable, adding that the council should engage the Civil Protection Authority for assistance. The community services should also come in,” said Mr Kaponda.
