the conditions at Falcon are not conducive for such a tourney.
Langton Chaota, the Falcon Golf Club captain and tournament organiser, said they had gambled on the timing and lost out.
“We got our dates wrong as this is the rainy season but we are hopeful that we will reschedule the tournament to the end of this month.
“The club is not in its best conditions so it will be difficult for the professionals to play in such conditions. There is water logging on the course, especially in the bunkers.
“We are working on improving the drainage and if the rains do not persist we are going to have the tournament very soon.
“We will need to consult the organisers, Zambezi Tour, for the specific date,” Chaota said.
