Blue Ribbon hope to seal partnersship deal

Ribbon were promoted into the Premiership last season and finished a modest ninth position largely under the guidance of veteran coach Misheck Chidzambwa who was relieved of his duties just before the end of the season after he failed to achieve the set target of a top eight finish.
However, the millers had also found it                 a huge challenge to support the football           team financially and have indicated that they could only avail a partial sponsorship this season.
Club chairman, Moses Shumba, yesterday said negotiations with potential partners have now reached an advanced stage.
“We are negotiating with partners who should be coming on board. I am sure that by the end of this week, we should be able to conclude the deal,” said Shumba.
