MATABELELAND South Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) newly appointed Spokesperson and Provincial Public Relations Officer Terence Tikiti has been promoted from Correctional Officer Grade Three (CO3) (Sergeant) to the rank of Assistant Principal Correctional Officer (APCO).
He took over the role from APCO Cynthia Magutshwa who was transferred to Matabeleland North Province.
In an official notification of promotion to the media fraternity and the general public of Matabeleland South province, ZPCS said;
“Congratulations on the promotion of CO3 (Sergeant) Terence Tikiti to the rank of APCO. Tikiti is the newly appointed ZPCS Spokesperson and Provincial Public Relations Officer Matabeleland South.
“New rank: Assistant Principal Correctional Officer (APCO) while previous rank: Correctional Officer Grade Three (CO3) and role: Provincial Public Relations Officer and Spokesperson to the Officer Commanding Matabeleland South Province.
“Area of responsibility: Matabeleland South province, Zimbabwe and effective date: June 3, 2026,” reads part of the statement.
