Matabeleland North Schools Clash In Bubi

THE Matabeleland North NASH Track and Field Championships started late on Wednesday morning after overnight rains erased the track at Sombubu Secondary School in Bubi.

However two hours after scheduled time then event got underway with the 100m heats.

Mkhululi Vundla, the provincial chairman is hopeful that the team selected from this seven district contest will represent the province well in the national championships in Harare in three weeks time.

Matabeleland North has dominated the basement position in the last decade.

Binga, Bubi, Lupane, Hwange, Tsholotsho, Nkayi and Umguza are taking part in the competition.

The teams that are taking part we’re selected last week at district championships.
