MEET THE ANALYSTS

WHEN Owen Tsiga and Tendai Mberikunashe thought of what their WhatsApp group could do, besides work-related chats, they decided to form a social football team.

They formed Analysts FC, which features fire fighters, nurses, doctors and ambulance crews.

Tsiga, who is an occupational health nurse and paramedic, said they have an open-door policy and anyone can join their team.

They have former footballers, and a Premier Soccer League referee, in their ranks.

“We believe that playing social league keeps us well physically, emotionally and psychologically.

“We are self-sponsored with each member contributing towards the team’s welfare.

“The team is based in Harare, but we also have players from Concession,” said Tsiga.
