Mentally challenged girl seeks help

A CHIGODORA woman is looking for financial assistance to allow her eight-year-old daughter, Deldree Muzarewetu who suffers violent convulsions and has a mental disability to undergo medical treatment.

The girl does not talk or eat alone. She soils herself and is always kept under guard since she turns violent whenever she is left unattended.

“It started in 2009 and she would occasionally turn violent and develop seizures with convulsions. She soils herself since she does not talk or walk properly. We always make sure that she is attended to because she turns violent and destroys property whenever she is alone.

“She soils herself and we have been struggling to raise money to buy her pampers and napkins. We have been visiting local hospitals for medical attention, but most doctors could not find a remedy. We intend to raise money to seek medical attention in Harare,” said Deldree’s mother, Chido Kwinje (36). Chido and her husband are both unemployed. Anyone willing to assist her, they can contact 0714677170.
