All is set for Miss Zimbabwe beauty pageant that is scheduled to take place at Mabvazuva Village tomorrow night. Fifteen models have made it to the finals after three weeks of screening, grooming and training whilst in boot camp.
Three brand new Chevrolets: a Chevy Cruze for the beauty queen and two Spark Lites for the first and second runner-ups have since been availed.

The event is a black tie event affair and is strictly by invitation. Miss Zimbabwe Trust Chairperson Mary Chiwenga recently said they were hoping to draw an audience that adds value to the pageant.

“Tickets are going for US$3 000 for a table of 10 and US$300 for single seats.

“It is a tented event that is going to be of world standards,” she has said.

She promised glitz and glamour, complete with a glass tent where the audience will be treated to world class food and top class entertainment.

“The event is going to be classy and different from all those that have been taking place over the years. Jah Prayzah and Trevor Dongo will be part of the entertainment line-up,” she said.

A South Africa-based Zimbabwean designer has since jetted into the country ahead of the pageant.

The designer will provide night wear gowns for the girls and will work hand-in-glove with a local designer Chichi Chidhakwa.
