A POLICE officer, Robert Boora, who was last seen six months ago was recently found dead.

He was reported missing in May and his body was discovered hanging from a tree branch by a herd boy who was grazing his cattle at Farm 51 in Chipangayi late last week.

A report was made to the police who attended the scene and ferried Boora’s remains to Chipinge District Hospital mortuary.

Boora was positively identified by his brother Mike by the clothes he was last seen wearing.

Mike confirmed the discovery of his brother’s remains.

“Robert was found dead and his remains were taken to Chipinge District Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. We are now processing the burial papers,” said Mike.
