Mliswa case deferred

at Zvimonja Business Centre in Zvipani has been deferred to June 19.

The matter was deferred because the trial magistrate Mr Sam Chitumwa and prosecutor Mr Herald Matura are on leave and would resume with cross examination of State witness Mr Tapera Machingaifa.

Defence lawyers Mr Musindo Hungwe, Mr  Ray Tsvakwi, Mr Mike Mutsvairo and Mr Kudzai Choga consented to the deferment.

Mliswa is being jointly charged with Goodwell Zinyama (49), Simbabrashe Mamina (30), Christopher Munakira (35), Munyaradzi Mutami (33), Judge Makwava (34), January Mapfundematsva (37) and Matilda Makwanya.

Four witnesses have so far testified in a case in which the State has lined up seven witnesses.
