A 51-YEAR-OLD demon, posing as a father will spend four decades behind bars for the sickening rape of his 14-year-old daughter – a crime so vile, the magistrate described it as “the ultimate betrayal of humanity.”
The Tredgold Magistrates’ Court in Bulawayo heard how the predator; lured his child into his bedroom under false pretences, raped her multiple times in February 2025, threatened to kill her and dump the body in a mineshaft.
“He didn’t just steal her innocence – he threatened to erase her very existence,” said Prosecutor Tarico Melinda, during sentencing.
The brave teenager finally broke her silence to her mother, who immediately contacted police, secured medical evidence and ensured the monster’s arrest.
The 40-year jail term sends a clear message; no mercy for child rapists and familial predators will face maximum punishment.
Magistrate, Nomsa Dube declared: “You are not a father — you are a danger to society.”
