Chimanimani East legislator Cde Joshua Sacco has urged Government to consider the re-opening of the the Cashel Valley border post to boost the exportation of timber and other agricultural products.
Cde Sacco said opening the border post will go a long way in turning Chimanimani into an economic hub as well as decongest Forbes border post in Mutare.
If opened the port of entry will create a shorter route for traders crossing to Beira from Zimbabwe and neighbouring South Africa.
