Mucheche bail ruling tomorrow

Herald Correspondent

Harare magistrate Mr Dennis Mangosi has deferred to Tuesday the bail ruling in the matter of a woman who is facing allegations of threatening to kill a businessman.

The investigating officer is also expected to give the court Elizabeth Parirenyatwa Mucheche’s proper address.

Mucheche is facing charges of perjury and threating to kill a man who is a complainant in her perjury case.
Allegations are that in October 2022 in Glen Lorne, Harare, Mucheche who is not related to the late Brian James Rhodes or legally appointed as an executor of his estate generated a fake power of attorney document.

On the second count, she threatened to kill Brian Murphy, who is the complainant.
The court heard that in July this year, Mucheche met Murphy and threatened to kill him after he had reported a case of perjury against her at ZRP Highlands.
