ZIMBABWE resume day two of the second Test match against South Africa on the back foot at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
After winning the toss and electing to field first, Zimbabwe were made to rue their decision with the visitors putting up batting masterclass led by their stand-in captain Wiaan Mulder.

The Proteas finished day one on 465/4 (88 overs) with Mulder scoring a record-breaking unbeaten double century.
He resumes day two on 264, the highest score by a player in their first innings as a captain.
The Chevrons, once again, had early breakthroughs but could not maximise. Inside the first hour of play on day one, they had the Proteas on 24/2, but a 184-run third-wicket partnership between Mulder and David Bedingham, and a 217-run fourth-wicket partnership between Mulder and Luan de Bruin, powered South Africa to a commanding position.
Tanaka Chivanga picked up two wickets while debutant Kundai Matigimu and Wellington Masakadza took one scalp apiece.
Mulder resumes the day with Dewald Brevis (15).
