Musician honours 200 students

SOUTH Africa-based gospel musician, Apostle ‘Apostle K’ Jaravaza, has honoured over 200 students with a consignment of stationery worth thousands of rand.

The singer, who is also a church leader, is riding on his recent 25-track gospel album, Right Direction, and believes in giving back to the community.

On May 10, they visited Purpose Finder Academy and handed over the consignment.

“This is just an act of kindness that should benefit the children, while it should also be an example to many others to follow.

“Despite resources being scarce, education remains a fundamental right that should be accessible to all children.

“However, for many families living in underprivileged areas of South Africa, the cost of stationery can be a burden that they cannot afford.

“This is where the generosity of individuals like us come into play,” he said.

Apostle K has a reputation for being a compassionate and charitable individual who is always looking for ways to help those in need

“This is just the beginning of philanthropic work in South Africa where we will be descending on the vulnerable and the needy.

“The donation was not just about giving children the tools they need to learn but it was also about sending a message of hope to the children and their families, many of whom may feel forgotten and left behind by society. “By demonstrating this concern, we are giving them a renewed sense of purpose and motivation to succeed.”
