Mutare school honoured at national awards

MUTARE-BASED learning institution, Sunny Day Group of Schools, is flying high after it was honoured with three awards at the national school awards ceremony held in Harare recently.


The institution was honoured for being Outstanding School in Fostering Parent-Teacher partnerships between parents and educators, while the institution’s founder, Mr Paul Samupindi was awarded the Leadership Excellence in Education Award for exceptional vision as well as the Excellence in Community Engagement Award.


The awards, among other objectives are aimed at motivating learners and recognising educational institutions from across the country.


Mr Samupindi said he was excited to be honoured to be among schools empowering learners across the country.


“The awards will motivate us to work harder and mould learners who will be future leaders of tomorrow. We are forever grateful,” he said.
