Mutodi demonstrates his composition skills in all the songs and goes the extra mile in making his album a mixed bag for every listener by varying his beats from sungura, rhumba to the Zambian type of house music.
The album kicks off with the track “Rure Rure” about a person who is bent on destroying another person through juju and other evil ways.
Lovers will find the song “Chiedza” to their liking since the words praise wives and girlfriends.
“Ijana Rangu” talks about how time becomes ripe for everyone, while “Chenai” is another love song.
The two rhumba songs, “Tumekile” and “Simuka Utambe”, are danceable songs while “Isabella” is a house track.

Benjamin Chidewe — Chitubu
Zimbabwe is endowed with a number of young musicians whose names are unfortunately not familiar with many.
One of such young artistes is 28-year-old afro-jazz musician Benjamin Chidewe, who has released his matrix-loaded album titled “Chitubu”.
The Westlea-based guitarist and singer shows on this 18-track album, that his talent is being stifled and given the chance, he can make big waves on the local music scene.
No wonder he decided to market the album on his own, selling 1 500 copies to date.
The title track, “Chitubu”, talks about how the heart is the centre of love and urges people to love one another.
Listeners will find the song “Waenda” touching and at the same time appealing in the way through which the artiste dedicates it to fallen musicians — Tongai Moyo and Prince Tendai — whose passing on was great loss to the nation.
He assumes the role of a social adviser in the song “Zvehupenyu” in which he advises people to use restraint especially in this day and age where diseases like HIV and Aids are claiming many lives.
“Unondichengetedza” is a tribute to women and wives for their love for their partners, while “Zvasarire Isu” is also another touching song but this time, dedicated to another late musician — Sam Mtukudzi.
Some of the tracks to look forward to include “Ngirozi”, “Pushing On” and “Mafambiro Ako”.
Chidewe was born on September 27, 1984, in Harare.
New Vision Gospel Choir — Huyai Kuna Jesu
This group from the United Methodist Church is not new to gospel music industry.
They have bounced back with two new releases, an audio as well as a DVD version of their album titled “Huyai Kuna Jesu”.
The DVD is made more appealing by the dances that the group members go through in most of the videos.
“Huyai Kuna Jesu” exhorts people to repent and follow Jesus Christ.
“Takapiwa Nashe” is another video to look forward to and in it they express pride in how God endows people with the gifts of life hence the need to worship him.
“Tinoda Mufaro” is a video that promotes peace, while “Pedyo Nemuchinjiko” advises people to stay closer to Jesus Christ in everything they go through in life.
